North London Music Producer Harmony Samuels’ Track Nominated For Grammy [News]

Tottenham music producer, composer and songwriter Harmony Samuels [@HarmonySamuels] – who’s worked on tracks for numerous artists including Ariana Grande, Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross and the UK’s very own Chip – has had one of his tracks nominated for a Grammy…

Currently living in Los Angeles, just recently taking up the position of executive producer for the Best Man Holiday soundtrack, the 33-year old was nominated for his work on Without Me sung by Soul singer Fantasia Barrino featuring both Kelly Rowland and rapper Missy Elliott.

The track will be in the running for Best R&B Song at The 56th Annual Grammy Awards early next year in January at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

2013 has been a successful one for the self-taught piano, guitar and drums player who was awarded an ASCAP prize in June, eventually witnessing his work on two of the year’s most critically acclaimed pop albums; Ariana Grande’s Yours Truly and Barrino’s The Side Effects Of You – the latter nominated for a total of three Grammys next year – keep his name at the forefront of the international music scene.

Upon hearing the nominations news Fantasia [@TasiasWord] tweeted the Londoner typing, “YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Congratulations on your Grammy Nominations.” The musician later tweeted to his supporters, “Thank You To everyone that tweeted support for the Grammy Nominations, love and appreciate you all. Dreams do come true.”

Not forgetting his roots Samuels, who is also one half of the duo behind entertainment and fashion empire BOE Global has been posting support via Twitter for west London singer/songwriter Shakka as well as working on new material with Chip, and UK urban acts A-Dot and Rascals.
