In an attempt to silence critics, Labrinth is recording new music to prove he is talented…
The 23-year-old released his debut album Electronic Earth earlier this year but is already working on the follow-up with the hopes that the resulting tracks will silence his critics. Labrinth tried to dismiss reviews from his first album “It’s not really enough just to write songs about how devastatingly original and groundbreaking you are: you’re actually supposed to make original and groundbreaking music, too”. And is biting back with his latest offerings which he calls “shut-the-f**k-up music”. He claimed “It basically silences anyone who says, ‘Oh Labrinth is no good, he’s not talented at all.’ “I’m just going to sing, I’m going to play my instruments, I’m going to put everything out there and show them what I’m all about.”
Labrinth will be on tour this autumn starting at Bristol’s O2 Academy on October 17th.
