Cheryl Cole’s British pop and Britney Spears’  US chart toppers are both great in their own right, but with will.i.am wanting them to collaborate, will.it.work?

This week The Sun reported that will.i.am has approached Britney Spears and made a strong suggestion that she should collaborate with his bessie mate and client Cheryl Cole.

“There were rumours earlier this summer that the pair were going to duet but it wasn’t until this week that Britney and Will had the discussion. He told Britney he was writing a great new track and wanted his ‘two favourite girls’ to record it together at his home studio.”

will.i.am knows first hand what Britney is like in the studio as his album #willpower includes a track featuring her, and thinks she would work well with Cole, apparently he even brought four of Cheryl’s tracks along with him to recording sessions with the US star.
