Love magazine has reported that Kanye West  is preparing for the launch of his womenswear collection during Paris Fashion Week on October 1st. Kanye has reportedly tapped Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci, who designed the artwork for his latest collaborative album, Watch the Throne, as one of his mentors.

Since no plans were made apparent to show during New York Fashion Week, which is currently taking place; speculation arose around the possibility that the Watch The Throne artist would show in Paris. Kanye is reportedly working with London-based designer Louise Goldin, Harper’s Bazaar Australia stylist Christine Centenera and shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti on the collection. A Paris fashion source told Elle Magazine that Goldin was eager to show the new line in New York as she plans to move her own label to America. Based on the fact that his design team is based  in a studio in the French capital, the idea seemed very plausible!!

It’s all very exciting! We can’t to see what the eminent trendsetter has in store for us. Watch this space.
