The competition is hot in this year’s BT Digital Music Awards, with Example, Wretch 32 and Professor Green all up for nominations…

The nominees have been announced for categories such as Best Male Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Group, and Best International Group, with the likes of Wretch 32, Example, Professor Green, Jessie J, Lady Gaga and Adele in the line up.

Comprised of 20 categories, the DMAs will see artists fighting it out for more than one category. Jessie J, Ellie Goulding and Adele find themselves not only in the running for Best Female Artist, but also for Best Song, whilst X-Factor success stories, Olly Murs and Matt Cardell, appear in both Best Male Artist, and Best Newcomer. Tinie Tempah, Professor Green, Plan B, and Example are all contestants for the Best Male Artist Category too. Eminem, Lady Gaga and Rihanna appear in the Best International Artist section.

And if you didn’t know already, SBTV are up for the Best Place to Discover Music award alongside, Mixcloud and Radio 1 online. With Vevo, YouTube, and Spotify making it into the Best Place to Hear Music category.

Online voting is available at btdma.com, and the awards will take place at Camden Roundhouse on September 29.
