Congratulations to Eminem for becoming the first hip hop artist to reach one billion YouTube video views…
He may have missed out on a Best Album award at the Brits, but the Detroit rapper has broken a new record. The combined views of his 28 official videos have now passed one billion YouTube views.
Last year Lady Gaga became the first artist to reach a billion views, but Justin Bieber, who currently stands at 1.3 billion views, soon overtook her. After thirteen years, it’s a big achievement for Eminem, especially considering his controversial early releases and their videos.
