It’s set to be a stonking great show with a mixture of homegrown and overseas talent gracing the stage on the night.
Confirmed performers are: Take That, Plan B, Rihanna, Tinie Tempah, Mumford & Sons, Adele, Cee Lo Green and Arcade Fire.
SB.TV recently reported that Eminem was rumoured to make an appearance but only on the condition he wins an award, there’s been no further word on that one as yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see…
Leading the pack with the most nominations, Tinie Tempah has told fans to ‘expect the unexpected’ from his performance. Plan B is smashing up stages Stateside with Faith SFX so we can expect an amazing set from him too. Indie fans delight as current genre darlings Mumford & Sons and Arcade Fire have a great live reputation too.
Battling it out for the big one – MasterCard British Album of the Year is: Take That, Plan B, Mumford & Sons and Tinie Tempah. Each of their albums will have a short film about them screened on the night so we get to learn more about the creation of them.
SB.TV let you know about the new statue and nominations launch party that took place on 13 January. At the event, Critics’ Choice winner Jessie J performed, as well as The Wanted, and Tinie Tempah teamed up with Ellie Goulding to bring Wonderman, a popular track from his platinum album The Disc-Overy, to life on stage too. Here’s the teaser for the official Wonderman video
